Capable of resolving the finest musical detail or generating the power and dynamics of a full scale orchestra, the Definition DC8T is a commanding floor standing loudspeaker for the discerning listener. The latest 8 inch Dual Concentric™ drive unit with WideBand™ tweeter is augmented with a precision matched 8 inch bass driver in a thoroughly contemporary luxury finished cabinet. The exceptional rigidity of the port tuned plywood enclosure and extensive use of Tannoy DMT™ material achieves bass down to almost 30Hz with outstanding low frequency dynamics. The Deep Cryogenically Treated straight path crossover, silver plated copper conductors and Tannoy’s unique fifth speaker terminal for driver grounding ensures the DC8T’s class leading fidelity and articulation.
